🔸 Más de 7.8 millones de mujeres mexicanas forman parte de la fuerza laboral en Estados Unidos y sostienen hogares a ambos lados de la frontera
#INTERNACIONAL | Las mujeres mexicanas que trabajan en Estados Unidos aportan más de un billón de dólares anuales a la economía de ese país, destacó Ana Valdez, directora general de Latino Donor Collaborative Think Tank, durante la conferencia matutina de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum.
La directiva señaló que actualmente existen 7.83 millones de mexicanas laborando en territorio estadounidense, cifra que representa una fuerza laboral superior a la población total de varios países. Además, resaltó que muchas de ellas contribuyen al sostenimiento económico tanto de familias en Estados Unidos como en México.
Ana Valdez también explicó que el 50 por ciento de las mujeres latinas considera fundamental emprender un negocio como parte del “sueño americano”, mientras que el 82 por ciento de las mexicanas tiene como prioridad la construcción de patrimonio familiar.
Durante la presentación se destacó además el peso económico de la comunidad mexicana en Estados Unidos, cuya contribución al Producto Interno Bruto estadounidense supera los 2 billones de dólares anuales, consolidándose como uno de los motores de crecimiento en ese país.
