🔸 Ivar Sisniega confirmó el interés por jugar de nuevo en el Estadio Cuauhtémoc.

#PUEBLA | La Federación Mexicana de Futbol (Femexfut) se encuentra en pláticas para que la Selección Mexicana que dirige Javier “El Vasco” Aguirre, juego un partido de preparación antes del comienzo del Mundial 2026.

Ivar Sisniega, presidente de la Femexfut, aseguró que el Estadio Cuauhtémoc, casa del Club Puebla, cuenta con las condiciones para recibir al combinado nacional en la recta final de su preparación.

En entrevista tras la inauguración de los Campeonatos Nacionales Sub 9 y Sub 11, Sisniega resaltó que, por ahora, están en análisis las posibles sedes de los duelos en los que “El Vasco” Aguirre afinará los últimos detalles para la justa mundialista y Puebla se coloca como una opción.

“Estamos en pláticas. No se han definido las sedes. Ciertamente, Puebla es de las consideradas por muchos temas. Ya trajimos, también, a la Mayor varonil. Es un gran estadio que tiene muy buenas condiciones, también, para eso”, apuntó.

Actualmente, la Femexfut está trabajando en la definición de las fechas de los partidos de preparación de la selección mexicana, los cuales, se realizarán durante el primer trimestre de 2026.

Ivar Sisniega explicó que se analiza la opción de que Puebla sea sede de una de las fechas de preparación del combinado nacional por el apoyo que brinda el gobierno del estado cuando organiza actividades deportivas.

“Estamos contemplando eso. Tentativamente, enero, febrero, posiblemente, y marzo, la fase final, antes de la copa del mundo”, resaltó.

“Por un lado, el gran apoyo del gobierno que es fundamental; dos, que hay infraestructura deportiva y Puebla, cuando acepta comenzar un torneo, un evento, un juego, todo el gobierno se vuelca para dar ese apoyo”, expresó.
