#ESPECTÁCULOS | El medio del espectáculo en México es testigo de un nuevo caso de una estrella que pasó del éxito y la fortuna a vivir en situación de calle, sin recursos y muy alejada de esos momentos de fama.
En esta ocasión se trata de Gloria Ivonne Barrera Gutiérrez, mejor conocida por su nombre artístico ‘Robertha’, cantante y actriz de quien se asegura fue vista en un parque de la Ciudad de México en situación precaria, como una indigente.
¿Dónde la vieron?
Fue en el canal de YouTube de la periodista Inés Moreno donde surgió esta información, citando a la actriz Cynthia Torash como la testigo de haberse encontrado con Robertha viviendo en la calle.
“Resulta que Cynthia Torash, andando por las calles de esta ciudad, se encuentra a una señora en situación de calle, a la que vio confundida, y resulta que era una famosa actriz de los 70.
“Cynthia habló con ella y está totalmente desorientada, cree que está viviendo en la calle. Urge que La Casa del Actor o que alguien la ayude. Ella fue ganadora de ‘La Voz Senior’“, se mencionó en la emisión.
“Al principio no la reconocimos. Pero luego de observarla de cerca, nos dimos cuenta de que era ella. Estaba sola, con pocas pertenencias y visiblemente afectada”, mencionó otro testigo, agregando que la actriz y cantante fue vista en un parque cerca de las avenidas Insurgentes y Reforma, en la CDMX.
¿Quién es Robertha y cuál fue su trayectoria artística?
Gloria Ivonne Barrera Gutiérrez, mejor conocida como Robertha, nació en Perú en 1949, pero desde muy joven viajó a México, donde en los años 60 y 70 alcanzó el éxito como cantante con su canción “Amor no llores”, misma que le valió un disco de oro en Hollywood tras sus altas ventas, y el apodo de ‘La voz del amor’.
Además de la música, Robertha también incursionó en la actuación por aquellos años, protagonizando la película Vidita negra (1973) junto a Mauricio Garcés, además de trabajar en otras cintas como Una mujer honesta (1972) y Rosas blancas para mi hermana negra (1970).
También llegó a la pantalla chica con la telenovela de Televisa Los ricos también lloran (1979), protagonizada por Verónica Castro y Rogelio Guerra.
Retiro, regreso y reality show
En el año 2000, la peruana se alejó de la vida pública, reapareciendo hasta 2016, cuando lanzó el disco Hola vida, un homenaje a José Alfredo Jiménez.
Lo último que se supo de Robertha fue en 2019, cuando ganó el reality show La Voz Senior, formando parte del equipo de Lupillo Rivera.
