Sin embargo, suelen propagarse con el calor, por lo que estas son algunas de las recomendaciones para identificar los nidos de estos animales, según la Inteligencia Artificial (IA).
Para descubrir a estos huéspedes, lo ideal será localizar señales de infestación, tales como: 1-Excrementos: Parecen granos de pimienta negra o café molido, 2-Olor fuerte: Las cucarachas emiten un olor rancio y desagradable, 3-Cápsulas de huevos (ootecas): Son alargadas y marrones y 4-Restos de la piel: mudan de piel varias veces antes de llegar a la adultez.
Otra señal de alerta que tienes que prevenir es dónde se localizan con mayor frecuencia y es en: 1-Detrás o debajo de electrodomésticos (refrigerador, estufa, microondas), 2-Dentro de gabinetes, sobre todo si hay humedad y oscuridad, 3-En grietas en las paredes, pisos o detrás de algunos muebles, 4-Baños y lavaderos con tuberías expuestas y 5-Basureros, especialmente si no están bien sellados.
Si lo que deseas es eliminar un nido de estos alargados insectos, entonces sigue estas recomendaciones al pie de la letra.
1-Limpieza profunda: Vacía y limpia cajones, alacenas y estanterías, Usa una mezcla de agua caliente, vinagre blanco y jabón para desinfectar y Sella cualquier fuente de alimento y guarda la comida en recipientes herméticos.
2- Eliminación directa del nido Una vez localizado el nido: Aspira cuidadosamente (usa una aspiradora con bolsa desechable). Después, desecha la bolsa en una bolsa sellada fuera de casa, Aplica insecticida en spray (preferiblemente con reguladores de crecimiento de insectos, IGR) y Puedes también usar polvo de ácido bórico o tierra de diatomeas alrededor del área.
3-Cebos y trampas: Coloca cebos comerciales cerca del nido y en zonas de tránsito (debajo del fregadero, detrás del refrigerador) y Usa trampas adhesivas para monitorear la actividad restante.
