#DEPORTES | Semana histórica. LeBron James se convirtió el martes en el primer jugador en la historia de la NBA en alcanzar los 50 mil puntos combinados en la temporada regular y en los playoffs.
James rebasó el hito con un triple en los albores del encuentro de los Lakers de Los Ángeles contra los Pelicans de Nueva Orleans, partido que el conjunto angelino necesitaba la victoria para mantenerse en la segunda posición de la Conferencia Oeste.
El astro había llegado a 49 mil 999 puntos el domingo por la noche cuando registró 17 en la sexta victoria consecutiva de los Lakers, 108-102 sobre sus vecinos Clippers. Además, ese mismo juego significó la victoria 1000 en la carrera del basquetbolista.
El jugador de 40 años ya se ha convertido en el máximo anotador en la historia de la NBA tanto en la temporada regular como en los playoffs, durante una carrera en la que ha reescrito todas las definiciones anteriores de longevidad en el baloncesto.
James alcanzó los 50.000 puntos combinados en su 22da temporada, que lo empata con Vince Carter por la mayor cantidad de campañas jugadas en la historia de la NBA.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, otra leyenda de los Lakers y quien jugó 20 temporadas, ocupa el segundo lugar en la historia de la NBA con 44.149 puntos combinados.
