La inversión histórica es de más de 2 mil millones de pesos, la gobernadora entregó patrullas y equipo a la SSC.

El gobierno de Quintana Roo anunció la inversión de 2 mil millones de pesos en la adquisición de equipo para cuerpos policíacos de la entidad, informó la gobernadora Mara Lezama.

Entre los equipos entregados a la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) están 689 vehículos, 507 chalecos balísticos y un helicóptero, que servirán para reforzar las acciones de seguridad en Quintana Roo.

“Ese es un fundamento básico del Nuevo Acuerdo por el Bienestar y el Desarrollo de Quintana Roo, poner a la gente en el centro de las decisiones, y el reclamo por recuperar la paz es uno de los más sentidos de la sociedad.

«Por eso (…) tomamos la decisión política de recobrar la paz en el estado” expresó Lezama al entregar los equipos a la Secretaría.

Se detalló que de los 689 vehículos 25 camionetas tipo pickup serán entregados en comodato a los municipios; en tanto que siete camionetas tipo pickup y motocicletas fueron financiadas del Fondo de Aportaciones para la seguridad pública.

Mara Lezama destacó que cien de los vehículos fueron un donativo que gestionó el contralmirante Rubén Oyarvide Pedrero, ex titular de la SSC, y que se trató de una donación por lo que no tuvieron costo para el erario estatal.

Detalló que para la compra del helicóptero se destinaron cerca de 440 millones de pesos.

En la adquisición de 507 chalecos antibalas se erogaron 11 millones 300 mil pesos.

Lezama precisó que en seguridad no se pueden obtener resultados inmediatos y tampoco se debe observar división entre los diversos niveles de gobierno.

“En este tema no hay lugar para divisiones egoístas, para perezas, para decisiones irresponsables y mucho menos para simulaciones.

«En seguridad no son admisibles las obras o los actos de relumbrón (…) Ya tuvimos mucho de eso durante mucho tiempo, y las consecuencias las tenemos hoy a la vista” expresó Lezama.

Dijo que al actual gobierno en Quintana Roo «no le tiembla la mano» y que tiene «muchos pantalones para combatir a la delincuencia”, que cuenta con voluntad, capacidad y compromiso para trabajar en la construcción de la seguridad en la entidad.

A través de sus cuentas de redes sociales, Lezama destacó que: «sin corrupción los recursos públicos alcanzan y se emplean donde más se necesitan».
